A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

You are a greedy, selfish king who wastes his days spending his kingdom's resources on frivolous, ego-boosting projects. After declaring that you will have your castle demolished and rebuilt, paid for, of course, by your royal subjects, your peasants finally decided that they had enough. As you construct your new castle and raise the taxes, your peasants begin to revolt against you! How high can you make it until everything falls apart?

Instructions:

To start building, press Tab. Tab will get you from build mode to movement mode and vice versa.

To place a material, first select it from the material user interface on the bottom of the screen. Then, click and drag the spawned material to someplace in the world.

While dragging, you can press right click and rotate the material. Give it a try, it'll still snap just fine!

If you hear and see a snap, that means that the material has snapped into place properly! You can now stop dragging and it will  stay where it is. Or, you can drag some more and watch it snap in to another spot.

If you want to build on top of what you've already made, you're going to need to move the character upwards. To gain some height, place down a ramp and exit build mode by pressing Tab. Then, move up the ramp. Once you're at the top, enter build mode again and start building again at the new height (note you need to be above, not just below, to build on top of a material).

If you want to build below your current position, you can simply use the scroll wheel to move the building grid down to the desired position and build there.

If you want to edit what you've built, you can always pick up and move pieces of what you've already made around by clicking and dragging them around. Be warned if you remove something out from under something else that needs its support, your structure might just fall down, so be careful when modifying your structure!

Some blocks will connect differently from other blocks, such as how corner blocks can connect to the sides of cubes. On the other hand, cubes can only connect properly by stacking up on each other, rather than connecting only to the side of other structures.

You have a limited amount of money to spend on these blocks. You will gain more money ever so often after you raise the taxes on the peasants, but that can only get you so far. For the big bucks, try collecting the bags of money floating on the clouds as you build upwards.

There are three different materials to choose from when constructing your structure: Wood, Stone, and Steel. Wood is flimsy, flammable, but cheep. Steel is strong, nonflammable, but expensive. Stone is the middle ground between the two. You will need to budget wisely to build up high and stay alive while your peasants revolt.

Once the peasants begin to revolt, they will throw various projectiles at you. Rocks are the most commonly thrown and simply deal damage to you and your structure. Tomatoes deal less damage than rocks but temporarily blind the player when hit by them. Fire has the chance to set aflame and burn down your structure and is probably the most dangerous of the bunch. Don't worry, though, the fire tossers aren't the best as hitting their target.
